Properly loading and securing the following on trucks
Basic rules:
The shipment's loader and driver must coordinate their activities in order to load the cargo quickly and safely.
- The truck must be in perfect condition.
- Use anti-slip mats in order to increase the coefficient of sliding friction (for stability)
- All transportation regulations must be complied with.
- Prepare a load diagram and adhere to it - especially if transporting goods with various weights.
- The main goal is to ensure that the cargo cannot slide, roll around, topple over, or fall down.
- The cargo must be able to withstand the forces exerted during transportation, as well as those that result from stacking and securing it.
- Use the lashing points (lashing rings) in the truck correctly.
