Example of an ADR license
Along with transport documents and instruction in writing, a valid ADR certification must be carried during DG transports.
  • The date of validity of the ADR certificate shall not have expired.
  • The type of Dangerous Goods the driver is allowed to transport is listed.
  • The type of Cargo Transport Unit (packed and/or tank) the driver is allowed to drive is listed.
  • Their shall be an identification picture.
  • If the ADR certificate has no identification picture (issued before 2013), the driver shall present another means of identification including a photograph.
