6. Labeling (5/11)

Labelling of environmentally hazardous substances

All means of containment for substances that are hazardous for the environment shall bear an additional mark.
This mark shall be located next to all hazard labels that have to be displayed for that product.

Examples:

UN 1203 Gasoline

For UN 3077 (Solid environmentally hazardous substances) and UN 3082 (Liquid environmentally hazardous substances), this mark is to be placed next to the class 9 label.

The symbol with the fish and the tree stands for the consequences of the environmental pollutants. Environmentally hazardous materials can lead to illnesses and the extinction of species.

Express removal of UN 3077 / 3082 (substance hazardous to the environment, solid or liquid, n.o.s.) from tunnel category "E". In this case there is no longer a limitation.
